Another one, school shooting that is, at a elementary in South Carolina. Yes, the shooter was caught. We should be glad, least that was done. But I'm not, you shouldn't be either because we got a serious problem.
How many more chances are we going to give these maniacs out here to take away what's precious to us? How long is the wait before your child's school is next? When will we increase our vigilance and be proactive in stopping this madness before it even takes place?
We look for everything to blame after the fact instead of focusing on the one thing that matters the most and that's the fact that the children are left defenseless to these threats in the first place. No matter if it's a gun, knife or bomb etc. they're defenseless from it. Why is that? Because it's a feeling that places such as schools should be off limits in the minds psychopaths. But I got news for you, it is NOT! It's only off limits when we make it and enforce it.
What's needed as number one is to fortify these schools from coast to coast then go from there. Because we're living in a time where they're becoming more common (reread that until it sticks in your head and it hits you). Never mind the fact it's happening to begin with.
How many shootings you hear about at places like the white house or a police station and so on? That's right, you hear none. You wanna know why? It's because they're vigilantly protected. And I'm sorry but if our legacy, our future isn't as important to protect as those places then we got a problem.
